Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Version 1.0.0 · Effective 2026-07-07

Our policy

SignFile does not sell your personal information. We have never sold it, we do not currently sell it, and we have no contracts or plans to sell it. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (CPRA’s expanded definition of “share”).

The Sub-processor list on /legal/subprocessors names every party that handles personal information on our behalf; all are processors, not buyers.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) rights

California residents have the right to (a) know what categories of personal information we collect, (b) delete their account, (c) limit the use of sensitive personal information, and (d) non-discrimination for exercising any right. The CCPA “opt-out of sale” right is moot in our case because there is no sale. Still, we honor it formally — submitting this form creates a verifiable opt-out record.

GDPR Art. 21 — right to object

EU and UK residents can object under GDPR Art. 21 to any processing we do on a legitimate-interest basis (currently: server-side error reporting to Sentry). Submitting this form routes your objection to support@signfile.io; we action it within 30 days.

Honoring Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Sec-GPC: 1 header (the Global Privacy Control signal), we treat the visit as a valid opt-out and stamp a first-party cookie so the choice persists across visits. You can clear the cookie at any time via the “Manage cookie preferences” link in any page footer.

Submit a verifiable opt-out

Even though our default is “no sale,” we record a formal opt-out for any user who wants verifiable written confirmation. The form below just opens an email to our privacy team; we reply within 30 days confirming the record was created.
